    Details

The original MT10/WT10 Minimus trail runner was a game changer for those who want a barefoot running experience but need some protection from sharp debris. The new Minimus Zero has taken that concept even farther, dropping the weight to a barely-there 4.4oz for men and 3.5 oz for women. To create a true barefoot running feel, this shoe features zero drop from heel to forefoot, encouraging a healthy "Good Form Running" midfoot strike. The laser-cut welded upper ensures no pointy seams chafe your feet, even on the most grueling ultramarathon.

    • 0.3 product Dale 2013-03-24" 1.0 5.0 5 I purchased the Zero trail runners last summer as a replacement for Vibrams. I have found them to be a incredibly comfortable shoe for running and hiking with a great "barefoot" feel, without the bizarre look of my previous shoes. I've been transitioning to minimalist running over the past couple years, and run on roads, trails, and in bad weather on treadmills. I travel a lot, and these shoes are superlight weight and great to pack. They are very comfortable with or without socks. I've used them in water also - they are quick drying and have exceptional grip on wet rocks and other surfaces. Only downsides I've experienced are that they get wet very easily when running on wet surfaces, as the soles are not waterproof; the cloth is strong but thin, and susceptible to wear - I do have some tears in the uppers, which is a fair trade-off for a super lightweight shoe.

      Customer Service Comments:
Great customer service. I initially purchased the MT10 shoes, which I found to be too narrow. The Vancouver store gave me a full exchange, no questions asked, and fitted me with the Zero trail shoes.
